Pep Talk

The “Pep Talk” in elsewhere tells it’s time for a change and to adapt to it. At first when Liz got to elsewhere she looked on the negative side of everything. But you shouldn’t do that. Look on the bright side of a change you don’t like and it will get better as you go on. Liz wants to run away from elsewhere and the changing. Right when she turned 14, Liz wanted to be a sneaker clause and go back to earth. She was running away from the problem instead of accepting it. All new changes are hard for people no matter if it’s a big or small change. If you run away it will never get better, but if you try to make a bad change into something good, it will be good. The cover of the book is a globe with a boat inside it. I think since the boat is going forward, it’s telling you to keep on going even if something is bad. The globe is circular and is telling you to keep on going also. Liz actually goes through the circle of life. She was born, died, and was reborn after 15 years.
