Finding your identity

This quote connects to elsewhere and how Liz had to deal and still live on in elsewhere with what she got. Everything happens for a reason. She couldn't control when she got hit by the car and when she went to elsewhere. The thing she did control is when she found herself in elsewhere. By who he hanged out with, got advice from, and how she talked. She starting liking elsewhere from all the people in her life and it helped her get through. This quote is kinda finding their identity and to be proud of who you are. Liz finds her identity from dying through when she was in elsewhere.

This is a really good quote. It explains Liz's new life and how she had to accept it was going to be different. She really did miss her family and her friends but she got used to her new life in elsewhere. She adapted to elsewhere with all her friends around her and giving her advice to get used to her new life for 14-15 years. Also, when you have to accept a change, you're going to go into some obstacles but it will all work out as it did for Liz.

This really does explain Liz's life. In the beginning of the story, she didn't believe she actually died and thought it was a dream. Later after she found out she actually died, everything was bad for her and everyday she looked at what was bad of it. But then later on after a year or so, she knew that she was in a good place and liked to live there. She looked for good outcomes of what happened.

When Liz first got to elsewhere, she wanted to change and go back to earth to be with her family. She didn't know anyone besides her grandma, Betty, at first. She wondered why it was her who had to die and not someone else. She wanted to change but she couldn't so she did everything she could to talk to her family. As example, taking a risk to dive to the well and communicate with her brother. When she got caught going to the well, she knew she couldn't try and get her brother to help her figure out how to get back to earth.
